I did a really interesting thing this afternoon; I saw a good friend graduate from the Police Academy of Washington State. She's going to be a police (or peace, as they called it today) officer in Seattle and I'm super proud of her. She's a total bad ass! I wanted to wear a dress to the ceremony, so I chose this black hi-lo jersey dress for it's comfort and practicality. And because it's statement week, I went for a boho chic look and wore it with beachy waves and a soft turban headband.
