Stripes
This is my favorite outfit of the week. Stripes! I feel SO chic in this outfit; it feels like me. Casual, fun, sweet, classic, and the tiniest bit sexy. And to think I got this sweater at Goodwill for $5.99! Egads!
And finally, before I rest my weary head, a note about stripes: Fit always, always, always trumps pattern. Perhaps I've said this before, but many people believe the myth that horizontal stripes make you look wider. NOT TRUE. Don't believe the lies! If the fit is bad, the stripes will absolutely make you look wider, but so will polka dots or flowers. Fit trumps pattern. Live by that motto when shopping for clothes. (Or hire me!)
